The Disabled People's Electronic Village Hall (DP-EVH) is an I.T. training organisation delivering learning to disabled and disadvantaged adults throughout West Yorkshire.

Many of our students use computers to benefit themselves, learn new things, improve their employment opportunities or just to come in and socialise.

We are a registered charity and have been in operation for over 17 years, originally working out of the Walsh Building in Dewsbury.

Now due to the Walsh Building being refurbished by the council, we have been re-situated in Dewsbury Town Hall, where we occupy several offices on the ground floor and two training rooms on the second floor.

Here we run Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses at a pace to suit the learner and which fit a wide range of needs - from the recreational, to those wanting to use ICT accredited qualifications to get back to work.

Uk online - GO-ON courses

GO - ON make online easy

We also deliver Uk online - GO-ON courses in computer skills making getting online easy.

We are one of 3,800 community based UK online centres across England, providing various I.T based courses helping people make the most of the Internet.

GO -ON courses have developed to become more about inspiring people to get online, and supporting them to gain the skills and confidence they need to use the internet and to take advantage of online public services.

We are delivering GO-ON courses here at the Town Hall and at the Dshop on Long Causeway Dewsbury (see poster).
