The Disabled People's Electronic Village Hall (DP-EVH) is an IT training organisation delivering learning
to disabled and disadvantaged
adults throughout
West Yorkshire.
We are a registered charity and have been in operation for over 15yrs. Many of our students use computers to benefit themselves, learn new things, improve their employment opportunities or just to come in and socialise!
We run Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses at a pace to suit the learner and which fit a wide range of needs - from the recreational to those wanting to use ICT accredited qualifications to get back to work.
Courses to suit all
There are a variety of courses available to suit all abilities from the absolute beginner through to the more advanced. Each one is designed to increase your knowledge and confidence in using IT.
We are also a Learndirect provider delivering on-line courses in computer skills plus self development to help improve your Maths and English.

These are longer courses – at all levels, aimed at using your IT skills to improve your job prospects. Credit can also be given for previous achievements in IT.
Courses available are:

- Level 2 - Information Technology (CLAiT Plus)
Non-IT Courses
If you are using or going to use your computer for work or to help with a voluntary project, or if you want to use it to help your children or grandchildren with their school or college work, you might like to try our course - Skills for Life - Literacy & Numeracy, which can lead to a qualification equivalent in level to GCSE without the long exams. The courses will be taught in a way which allows you to use your computer skills to help you learn.
- Skills for Life - Literacy & Numeracy (assorted levels)
