Uk online - GO-ON courses
We deliver UK online GO-ON computer courses.
The UK online centres network was set up by government in 1999 to provide public access to computers. Since then it has developed and become more about inspiring people to get online and helping them to gain the skills and confidence they need to use the internet.
The Internet is an amazing tool for learning. Many people use the internet daily to make their lives simpler, more fun and more productive. UK online centres use the GO ON website to help new users get online for the first time.
You can work at your own pace and receive support from our friendly staff who are on hand to help you with any problems or queries you may have.
As well as 'tasters' or fun stuff to try out, the GO ON website also hosts the Online basics course. Learners sign up for a GO ON account, so they can track their progress through the course's modules, which include using a keyboard and mouse, email, internet searching, internet safety and using online public services.
