Who We Are
The Disabled People's Electronic Village Hall (DP-EVH) is an independent organisation providing computer education and training for disabled and disadvantaged people within West Yorkshire.
Our mission statement reads:
The Disabled People's Electronic Village Hall exists to provide top quality training in computer use and related careers for disabled and disadvantaged people in order to improve their lifestyles, education and employment prospects.
A non-profit making, limited company registered as a charity, serving the community since 1994. The DP-EVH is owned by its members, who nominate a committee of 15, these directors are then responsible for the day to day management of the organisation.
The DP-EVH teaches people to use computers for enjoyment, employment and information. You can learn at a pace to suit your own needs.
All our learning skills are tailor made to suit the individual. Our tutors will encourage you to strive for your own personal goals.
Unlike many schools or colleges the DP-EVH can offer smaller learning groups or one to one tuition in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. more on who we are
