Scared of computers? Behind with technology? Let us show you how much fun computers can really be with one of our Starter Courses.

The courses are free and offer a chance to learn new computer based skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Each individual course lasts a maximum of 7 weeks.

IT First Steps

This gentle course will take you through the basics of operating a computer, create text documents and add images, get on-line and access the Internet for research, shopping and other interests, as well as staying in touch with friends and relatives via e-mail.

Using your Digital Camera

Using Photoshop Elements to retouch Pictures and share them with friends and relatives. Downloading your images, manipulating graphics, converting black and white photos to colour, altering brightness and contrast etc.

Family History

Researching your family history is becoming ever more popular. This course will show you the basics of genealogy and how to get the most from this popular science and pastime. All you need is your family information to take part. So come along and start growing the roots and branches of your own family tree!

Course days/times: 3hrs/wk.
